Maryland Families for Safe Birth is drafting our more comprehensive Birth Equity bill for this upcoming legislative session. In our previous Improving Birth survey, we have heard that many are concerned with the need for true informed consent, free-standing birth centers, access to VBAC/HBAC, and reducing racial disparities.
