Lobby Day 2017 was great with lots of MFSB supporters turning out in Annapolis to meet with their legislators. There is still some nice momentum from all the groundwork that was laid during the push for the legislation licensing direct entry midwives, and the post-meeting feedback from participants overwhelmingly indicated a very positive response to MFSB families and our message from legislators and their staff! It’s a good idea to stay connected and keep our mission and agenda fresh in their minds even in a year when we don’t have a specific bill.
